There are so many ways you can help One World Action. Do you feel like a challenge? Ever wanted to jump out of a plane or take part in a half-marathon or 10k run? There are lots of exciting events and challenges that you can take part in to raise money for OWA, from trekking through China to cycling to Paris.

The best way you can help build democratic solutions top poverty is by committing to a regular gift with OWA. Regular gifts mean we can plan our work in advance, confident we have the funds necessary to complete projects. It is also the most efficient way to give and helps us keep our administration costs to the barest minimum, meaning more of your gift is spent on the people and projects that need it.

If you want to give a single donation, you can gift online, by phone or by post.  Which ever way you choose to donate, if you are a UK tax payer please include a Gift Aid Declaration. Gift aid is surprising easy and a way to make your donation go even further.

There are also lots of options to get involved with your company. From team events, to payroll giving, staff quiz nights, matched giving or getting a team of colleagues together to run the 10k or the Great North Run! A really important way companies can give is by gifts-in-kind, donating goods or services to OWA. This is a great way to get good publicity and do something that all your staff can be proud of.

 

A new and very popular way to support our work is by sharing your celebrations. If your having an anniversary, birthday or wedding celebration many people now choose to ask guests to donate to a lasting tribute fund in lieu of gifts.

 

If you would like to remember someone, you can also setup a tribute fund in their name. The fund would stay in place for as long as you liked and grow in size helping people around the world make positive changes to their communities. You may also like to consider remembering One World Action in your will.

 

Lastly, are you selling something on eBay? You can donate a percentage of the profits or even get us to sell it for you!
